Want some free stuff?

Before I forget to mention it, make sure you check out Boiler Green Initiative's last event of the semester Project Move Out. From what I gather its kinda like organized dumpster diving, except you dont actually have to do the dumpster diving part where you get covered in post-finals beervomit and herpes while looking for your next desk or lawn chair.

Oh yeah, it also has the added benefits of lending assistance to people struggling to move out of their dorms and reducing the amount of needless waste they generate. All the juicy details should be provided via the link above.

**UPDATE**
Apparently those of you w/o facebook (wtf?) can't see the link. So here is the information copy/pasted from the Project Move Out event page:
Start Time: Friday, May 8, 2009 at 8:00am
End Time: Sunday, May 10, 2009 at 12:00pm
Location: Armory

Description

*Wondering what to do with all that extra stuff when you move out this semester or after spring cleaning?*
Here is your answer!

Project Move Out is an annual event sponsored by the Boiler Volunteer
Network that encourages students to donate items that they might
normally throw away at the end of the year.

The Boiler Volunteer Network will collect items between 10 am to 4 pm on
Friday, May 8th and Saturday, May 9th, and between 8 am to 12 pm on
Sunday, May 10th in the Purdue Armory. Students can bring goods such as
clothing, food, shoes, cleaning supplies, electronics, books, furniture,
laundry soap, winter coats, and luggage.

Clients of local agencies and organizations will have a chance to "shop"
for free items that they need from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, May
10th.

The Boiler Volunteer Network hopes that Project Move Out will reduce
the amount of items that are placed in the dumpsters at the end of the
year at the same time as helping families in need in the West Lafayette
and Lafayette community!

**Looking for a way to give back to the community? Volunteer your time helping sort materials, keeping people in order, etc!** email bvn@purdue.edu if you are interested!

***Please invite your friends so they know about this donation opportunity!
